Following an incident this summer where a vehicle collided with Frithwood Surgery, major building repair works have been scheduled to begin on 24th November and are expected to finish in mid-January.
We will be open, and all appointments will continue as normal for the duration of the maintenance work however there are some things that our patients should be aware of and you can find details of these below.
We will continue to share updates via our Facebook page and hope to avoid disruption to patients and staff as far as possible. Thank you for your patience.
Car Park
Three parking spaces immediately in front of the surgery will be blocked off to accommodate building equipment etc. The rest of the car park, including both disabled parking spaces, will still be accessible, but we would ask that people please avoid leaving a car in the car park overnight on the 23rd November.
Dispensary
The majority of the damage was done to the dispensary wall so significant building work will be taking place in our dispensary throughout. You do not need to order additional medication or order your prescriptions early.
You will still be able to reach the dispensary team by telephone and order prescriptions via email or written request (dropped off in the box under the dispensary window). However, it will only be possible to visit the dispensary at the following times:
- 8am-9am
- 10:30am-12:30pm
- 5:00pm-6:30pm
This will allow our dispensary team to work around the builders and ensure your prescriptions and medications are ready for you with as little disruption as possible.
